Sri Sreeram Hariharan (254-718-9312)
He was born into a priestly family in Palakkad, Kerala. At the age of seven he entered the prestigious Raja Veda Kavya Patasala (RVKP) in Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu, where he received his earlier training in Krishna Yajurveda, Sakha, Samhita, Padam and Kramam. After six years of study at RVKP, he entered the Sanskrit College in Chennai and, five years later, earned the title of Mimamsa Siromani. He also earned a B. Ed degree from Allahabad University. For 10 years before coming to the United States in the summer of 2001 (participated in a Mahalakshmi Yajnam for four months in Boston), Sreeram served as a Vaidha Purohit in Chennai.
He joined the Hindu Tempe of Central Texas (HTCT) in Temple as the Resident Priest on December 1, 2001, and has been serving the temple ever since.
Sreeram, as we fondly call him, is a dynamic priest who gets the devotees enthralled by his services and by his ability to get them into the spiritual mode of high devotion (Bhankti). He speaks in Tamil, Malayalam, English and Telugu.
Sri B.S.Srinidhi Bhattar (254-421-4627)
He hails from Bangalore, Karnataka. He is associated with HTCT since 2011.
Srinidhi completed his Vedic studies at Sri Aagamathraya Mahamandala in Bangalore and Sri Maharaja Sanskrit College in Mysore. He was trained under his guru Sri Dr. S.R.Sheshadri Bhattar (Retd. State Agama Pandit, Govt. of Karnataka) and Sri Dr.Vasudeva Bhattar (Paancharatraagama teacher) and Vidwan Sri S.R.Sethuram Bhattar (Father) in various religious rituals like Aalaya Kumbaabhishekam, Temple Anniversaries, temple daily rituals, Kalyanothsavam, Brahmotsavam, etc., according to Pancharatraagama Shastra.
Before joining our temple he was a hereditary priest at Sree Prasanna Venkataramana Swamy Temple which has a history of around 300 years. He has working experience in various other temples in and around Bangalore like Sri Vaibhava Ganapathi Temple, Sri Anjaneyaswamy Temple and Sri Krishna Swamy Temple. He participated in the annual Brahmotsavams and anniversaries at the Sri Srinivasa Perumal Sannidhi in Jakartha, Indonesia. .He can perform all kinds of poojas and havans inside and outside the temple premises. He can fluently speak in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and English.
