All the devotees are invited to listen to the sweet recitation by the children.

Deadline for Registration was January 15, 2012.
Please note: No registrations will be considered after the deadline.

All registrants are requested to arrive at least 15 minutes early (so that we can start on time) and stay till the end of the competition.

Please note: the concluding verse of every chapter, “ iti srimadbhagavadgitasupanishatsu…….” Should be recited only by those children who recite all the 19 verses.

VERSES FOR RECITIATION: CHAPTER 4, VERSES 24-42

Grouping is as follows:
KG and below - 5 verses (24-28)
1st and 2nd Gr. - 7 verses (24-30)
3rd and 5th Gr. - 10 verses (24-33)
6th and 8th Gr. - 15 verses (24-38)
9th Gr. and up - 19 verses (24-42)

Registration fee: $10.00 per child.

The children could challenge themselves to memorize more verses than assigned and go to the higher level. They will be judged accordingly.

Judgment is based on:
1. Clarity of expression
2. Memory power
3. Confidence in presentation

THE RECITATION ORDER AS DEVELOPED WILL NOT BE CHANGED.
