10th ANNUAL BHAGAVAD GITA CHANTING COMPETITION and QUIZ on HINDUISM
SATURDAY SEPT 29, 2018, 10:00 A.M.
GITA VERSES for RECITATION: Chapter 2, Verses 47-72.
RECITATION TIME: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Please be seated by 9:45 a.m. so that the event can start on time.
Children are encouraged to memorize as many verses as they can.
Each participant may present the meaning of one favorite verse from these 26 verses.
3 Groups: KG-2nd Grade, 3rd-5th grade and Middle School & up for award purposes.
Judging is based on:
1. Clarity of expression
2. Memory power
3. Confidence in presentation

Oral Quiz on Hinduism (based on Hindu Scriptures) to follow the chanting competition.
3 Groups: KG-2nd Grade, 3rd-5th grade and Middle School & up.

Registration Fee: $15.00 per child for both chanting and quiz. $10 for either chanting or quiz.
