10TH ANNUAL BHAGAVAD GITA CHANTING COMPETITION AND QUIZ ON HINDUISM
In September 2018 (exact date to be announced)
GITA VERSES for RECITATION: Chapter 2, Verses 47-72.
RECITATION TIME: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Please be seated by 9:45 a.m. so that the event can start on time.
Children are encouraged to memorize as many verses as they can.
Each participant may present the meaning of one favorite verse from these 26 verses.
3 Groups: KG-2nd Grades, 3rd-5th grades and Middle School & up for award purposes.
Judging is based on:
1. Clarity of expression
2. Memory power
3. Confidence in presentation

Oral Quiz on Hinduism (Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagavatham) to follow the chanting competition.
